Q: Do I need to have a semen analysis?
A: Anyone who is having trouble conceiving should have a semen analysis done. In about 40% of infertile couples, the cause of the infertility lies with the males, and this could easily and quickly be diagnosed via a semen analysis.

Q: Why does the BioTranz come with 2 test tubes?
A: When using the BioTranz kit, the produced specimen is placed in 1 of the test tubes and is mixed with the Test Yolk Buffer (TYB). The second test tube is provided as a back up in case there is a mistake with the first test tube. In rare cases, the specimen produced is too large for 1 test tube. When this happens, half of the specimen is placed in each test tube with half the amount of TYB.
 
Q: Does shipping semen or sperm via other non-certified or properly tested semen shippers other than the BioTranz harm the sperm?
A: Definitely! Do not be fooled by imitations and ship your semen via non-certified or properly tested semen/sperm shippers such as those used to ship animal semen or other biological transporters. Do not take a chance with the health of your future child. Do it right! (See full article)
